Child Therapy

Often times children, like adults, need some extra help to get through difficult times in their lives. I can help your child process their worries, sadness, anger, or fears around school, family, friendships, major life changes, or traumas. When working with your child, I use play, art and sandtray therapy to help empower your child to work through their toughest challenges in a safe and supportive environment, while at the same time learning coping, problem solving, decision making, and communication skills.

Teen Therapy

Making the transition between childhood and adulthood is challenging. Whether it’s just supporting your teen through this change, or helping them with their anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, peer/relationship issues, or working through a traumatic event, I can help. When working with your teen, I find common ground with them and use their natural strengths to help them feel comfortable in the sessions to work through their presenting concerns. I often utilize expressive therapy interventions and other creative techniques to help your teen learn coping skills and to engage in the therapy process if just sitting and talking isn’t their thing.

Adult Therapy

If you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, experienced trauma, a major loss, or went through a significant life transition and are confused about how you got to this point and how to move forward, you’ve come to the right place. I can help you feel like “you” again. I work with you on whatever challenge, no matter how small or big, that you are struggling with. I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques to find an intervention that best meets your needs and presenting issues.
